2000 Nations Cup Long Program
Interviewer: Peter Carruthers (PC)
PC: Congratulations Sarah. This is the second time this season that you've won a silver medal up against a World Champion. How's your season going so far?
Sarah: My season is going terrific so far. I'm really pleased with how I'm skating. I'm off to a great start and I have two days before I leave for Russia, not too much time to practice, but I know a couple things I want to improve and I hope to skate even better in Russia.
PC: And one of those things might be that small mistake. Did you have a little break in concentration on the fall?
Sarah: No, it didn't really affect the rest of my performance. In practice, if I miss something, I keep going and I think the rest of the program, it wasn't affected.
PC: Well, keep going you did! Now where do you want to take your skating from here?
Sarah: You know, for the next competition, I'd like to improve speed, a couple more things and I just hope to keep improving the rest of the season to be at a peak for Nationals and skate really well there.
PC: Keep it up and good luck!
Sarah: Thanks.
